Documentation ------------- User manual is placed on the installation disc in folder: \IQTL Installation The provided manuals are written in pdf format and and needs a PDF reader to be opened. ========================================================================= NEW FUNCTIONALITY in ImageQuant(TM) TL ========================================================================= ImageQuant TL v8.1 (8.1.0.0) is based on ImageQuant TL v7.0. The following changes are implemented: Major new functionality / improvements; • Multichannel mode without pre-requisite of .ds file format* • Molecular size determination between channels • Addition of pre-installed GE branded molecular weight markers • Improved image handling with possibility to handle several images simultaneously for comparative analysis. • Improved printing possibilities (e.g. 1:1 for cutting out bands) • Improved export and report formats • Simplified e-license handling • Improved descriptions in user manual *Note: This does not include multiplex ECL Plex analysis (i.e. normalization with housekeeping protein). General The on-line help is updated to include new functionality. The Parameters tab are displayed by default in the Help/Parameters tab set of the different analysis workflow steps. The following functionality from IQ Tools is included into IQTL: - same pseudo colours The noise reduction is improved for low signal / noise bands (1D analysis module). IQTools and FlourSep applications are removed from the installation. Some functionality is instead implemented in the IQTL application
